Q) Why is there sometimes a white crystal formation around the cap?
A) This normally occurs when ingredients spill and are exposed to air. IF a white crystal formation has formed around or under the cap, it can be removed with a cotton swab. Crystal formation can also occur in cold climates. This is normal and does not affect the performance. If this happens, keep the product at room temperature; the crystal formation will disappear.
Q) Why does Bump No Way Razor Bump Treatment not carry a fragrance?
A) To ensure effectiveness, we choose not to add any fragrance or colouring to its formulation. Bump No Way carries its natural ingredient odour. After applying BNW, wait several minutes, then use your choice of fragrance or moisturizer.
Q) Can I apply BNW to wet skin?
A) No, BNW should be used on dry skin only to ensure results.
Q) If I am currently using other razor bump and ingrown hair products, how long should I wait before I start using BNW?
A) To avoid reaction, discontinue use of the other product for 48-72 hours before starting BNW application.
Q) Why do I get a stinging sensation at the beginning and after applying BNW?
A) This is normal; it is the natural antibacterial agent at work. This agent is essential for killing bacteria that causes bumps.
Q) Will the product dry my skin out because of the Alcohol content?
A) To avoid the drying effect that alcohol causes to the skin, we have added glycerin, a natural moisturizer, to the formulation. For additional moisturizing, a moisturizer can be applied after BNW is dry. Do not apply a moisturizer before applying BNW.
Q) Will there be any long-term side effects?
A) No, our research has shown that there are no long-term side effects associated with BNW when used for its intended application and all instructions and precautionary measures are followed carefully.
Q) Should I continue using BNW after skin is cleared?
A) Once you are satisfied with the result, BNW can be used on an “as needed basis."
Q) Why is there a male and female product? Can a male use the female product and the female use the male?
A) Yes, both products can be used on both genders; however, each product is formulated and marketed to each gender directly.
Q) What makes BNW's works so effective?
A) BNW's specially formulated toner contains salicylic acid, which is a beta hydroxy acid derived from the willow tree. The large molecular size of salicylic acid makes it especially mild compared to the alpha hydroxy acids, allowing it to stay on the skin surface. Salicylic acid functions as an exfoliant and anticomedogenic agent to tone and smooth skin appearance. This toner also contains moisturizers Glycerin and Propylene Glycol plus Silicone skin emollients in a refreshing clear base.
